    Abstract: Proceedings of a conference on educating secondary school age children from immigrant families include summaries of papers, discussions, and panel presentations on the following topics: adolescent immigrant age and developmental issues; instructional issues in language development and bilingualism; limited-English-speaking students' access to core curriculum in middle schools; high school restructuring and school reform efforts; use of sheltered English for teaching content; human relations in multicultural secondary schools; teaching science and math to language minority children; accountability, student assessment, and equity for all students; and the political, legal, and fiscal climate for immigrant education and policy formation. Additional issues are addressed briefly in a concluding section. A list of conference participants and an annotated bibliography are appended. (MSE)
